David King joins Mastership from 2010 season PDF Print E-mail

At the East Essex hunt AGM last evening, it was announced that David King has accepted an invitation to join the existing mastership from the May 1st  2010.

David plans to bring some exciting challenges (from next season) for those in the field to include some excellent jumping country (for the brave hearted) and optional alternative routes (for the not so brave hearted)!

The existing masters are delighted with Davids acceptance to the mastership, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, both with hounds and hunting. He has hunted mainly with our good neighbours (E F & U) in recent years and enjoyed visiting the thrills and spills of 'the big country', hunting in Ireland.

Sharon, his wife is extremely supportive with his new post and aims to help wherever possible and to assist in further fundraising ventures and to encourage newcomers. Sharon runs her own business running hunter hirelings where many newcomers have enjoyed their days hunting so much that they have re hired for further days. Anyone interested in joining us out in the field can apply on line for a meet card or to hire a horse, please see the article below.

Our chairman, Sir Rchard Butler is delighted with the new addition to the existing mastership and wishes to offer David any support. that he may require.  Everyone associated with the East Essex Hunt also wish David well for his first season as master from May 1st 2010. David King will join Colin Hackshall, Stephen Norris and Aubrey Chinery.
